My name is Luis, from Portugal and I would like to share my experience working at Forest Homecare. I joined Forest Homecare in 2015, I have worked in similar roles before but I have never felt as welcome as I have done here. When I arrived in the UK Forest provided me with accommodation and a car to enable me to work. They have always helped me with what I needed such as opening a Bank Account, arranging a National Insurance Number, and DBS, all I had to do was ask. I attended the initial training and met my office manager, coordinator and colleagues who i was going to be working with on a daily basis, it was a superb experience and everybody made me feel very welcome, I can't thank them enough! After being here for 6 months my family joined me in the UK, Forest Homecare was very supportive and offered the help we needed, I am now renting my own house with my family and my 8 years old daughter is loving school. The teams are great and there is always somebody to help on my day-to-day work. You always start your job with someone experienced to guide you. I'm loving it!
This job is very rewarding as I am able to help vulnerable people. It is hard work and practical as I have to go to a range of people's houses to support them in their own homes
I really enjoy working at Forest Homecare, the training I had when I joined with Sarah was very good and helped me understand the importance of my role. Both the carers and office staff are very helpful and I work in a great team.
I have been an employee at Forest Homecare for 12 weeks now, I would like to emphasise my pleasure and gratitude and say a big thanks to staff who support me, I work for a very friendly and understandable team
